A quiet afternoon becomes dangerous...

Fayth glances up at Kasim when she hears him speak and sends a soft smile his way. "Hello, Kasim." she says, stifling another yawn. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there."

Kasim smiles at Fayth, but it falters a bit as he notices Talill approaching. he stops playing his music and sets the harp back on his belt before taking a seat on the bench.

Growing nearer and nearer, his form growing larger and more discernable as he comes to the clearing, Talill seems to be daydreaming, his eyes have a far off look to them, and he doesn't seem to notice anyone as he sits down on the pier, gazing out over the water. (Talill)

Strolling tiredly into the clearing, Tasman's sword bounces with every step he takes. His hair is sweaty and matted to his head. His tunic is plastered to his body, and he is breathing rather heavily. He collapses onto the ground. He notices Fayth, and waves - one eye squinted. Noting Kasim up in the tree, he dips his head, smiles goofily, and laughs. Still breathing hard, he puts his chin to his chest. (Tasman)

Fayth laughs when she sees Talill, her laughter loud and energetic. Eventually the laugh turns to a soft giggle, and she shakes her head. When she sees Tasman, she waves back at him and grins. "You look tired. I hope they haven't given you any extra workouts in the Band as well?"

Kasim looks up as he sees Tasman, arching an eyebrow at the man, and at Talill. He leans back on his bench, yawning slightly but not saying anything, waiting silently for a response from the man.

Talill is still apparently oblivious of his surroundings, or is at least ignoring them, as he doesn't react to the loud laughter of Fayth. Hanging his arm limply, a single wildflower falls out of the sleeve, and he tears off a petal, and throws it in the peaceful water, watching it float downstream pensively.

Tasman chuckles at Fayth's comment. "Oh no..." He huffs before continuing, "The Band is a little bit more lax when it comes to training. I do this for myself. No reason to let my skills slip." Noting Kasim's cool reaction towards him, he chooses to do nothing. His shoulders are still heaving in exhaustion. Feeling around in the grass with his right hand, he finds a rock. Gently, he tosses it in a soft arch towards Talill - hoping to get the man's attention.

Fayth nods. "Good. It's nice to see that some of the..." she pauses here, and stares at Tasman, apparently trying to determine something. "...side effects of joining the Band haven't quite rubbed off on you...yet." She rolls her eyes in Talill's direction, then turns to Kasim. "I hope you are doing well, huu..Kasim?"

Kasim smiles softly over at Fayth after giving a nod to Tasman's remark about letting his skills slip. "I am fine, thank you. And the day finds you well also, does it not?"

The rock hits Talill in the back of the head, and his shoulders rise up and he jerks upward as it does so. He raises a hand to the back of his head, rubbing where he was struck, and he seems to slump deeper into thought. (Talill)

Tasman unhooks his swordbelt from his waist and places it beside him on the grass. He puts both hands palm down and pushes himself up. He puts his hands on his hips and arches his back to stretch it. Striding over to Talill on the dock, he dips his boot into the water and splashes some water in Talill's direction. "You okay over there?"

Fayth nods at Kasim. "Of course." she giggles. "The day never finds me any other way..." she rolls her eyes at Kasim. "I apologize for not being able to see you very often these days, but I have been very busy with my lessons..." She grimaces. "...and my chores."

Kasim shrugs indifferently. "No harm, no foul. I have been a little busy myself, but, fortunately, I have completed this stage in my training, so I will be free until I am officially promoted." He frowns ever so slightly, leaning back on his bench once more.

Talill looks over in the general direction of the offending water, and he sighs quietly. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine...just taking a little bit of time off to think. A man has to think sometimes, right?", he says, his tone betraying him the whole time.  He adds, a touch more cheerfully, 'Aye, I've just got to think a bit."

Tasman puts his hand across his stomach and chuckles. "A thinking man in the Band? What next, a married one?" He chuckles once more and pivots to walk away. "But I understand the need to think. I will leave you to it." Strolling back over to the grass, he collects his sword belt, but holds it in his hands rather that putting it back on. Tasman rolls his neck and sighs.

Fayth nods at Kasim. "Congratulations. Unfortunately, I will not be getting that same freedom. I apologize. Disa Sedai has been keeping me very busy." She smiles broadly and leans in closer, whispering "I have learned the most amazing things!" She leans back again, her eyes dancing with excitement. Noticing that Tasman has returned, she raises an eyebrow at him questioningly.

Kasim nods to Fayth, closing his eyes as he leans back. He pulls the harp off his belt and begins playing a cascading melody, not really starting at the begin, but right where he left of last time he played, turning it into a never-ending, seldom repeating song.

Now that he's left alone again, Talill pulls another little bit from the wildflower in his hand, and he raises the red petal to his face, staring at what must be Aes Sedai work to still be alive in this drought. He sighs quietly, and tosses it in the river, watching it as if it held the secret to everything. (Talill)

Tasman nods softly at Fayth. "You must forgive me. I've found myself a little shocked to find a Bandie that thinks." He gestures back at Talill. "While I admit there is a lot of thinking going on in the Band, for the most part it's not conducted with our heads." He chuckles, but blushes at the same time - realizing that he had been so forward in front of a woman.

Fayth looks in the direction Tasman gestures and smirks. "Told you he was thinking, did he?" she laughs, but quietly, and it cuts off after just a moment. Her face becomes serious as she stares at Talill. Her eyes narrow just a bit, and then she shakes her head, seemingly coming to some sort of conclusion. She turns her head away from Talill rather reluctantly, and rolls her eyes at Tasman, grinning. "Really? And what is it conducted with then?" she asks, her face utterly innocent, but her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Kasim continues to play his song, flying up and down the scales like water over tumbled rocks. The song doesn't really convey any emotion, but has a comforting sound to it as it bounces off the trees and reverberates throughout the clearing.

Talill continues to watch the lone petal drift down the stream, and he moves a stray lock of hair that falls in his eyes away. He takes two from the flower again, and drops one into the water, sending it on its voyage to sea. He takes a deep breath, and lets it out with a sigh, and he turns around, walking down the pier.

Tasman grins broadly, and his eyes are smiling. "Actually, truth be told, I believe he is thinking about a woman. Not sure which woman..." He peers at Fayth for an instant before continuing, "...but the way he was playing with that flower leads me to no other conclusion." His smile grows bigger.

Fayth snickers. "You speak as if you crazy bandies think of anything else!" She grins at Tasman, then turns to watch the man in question walking up the pier. She raises an eyebrow at him, and still smiling, leans back on the bench and waits for him to come closer.

Kasim continues the cascading melody, dipping low to the bottom of the scale before ascending the staff quickly to the top, then falling down again. His fingers over quickly over the instrument, very quickly.

Talill moves slowly across the peer some more, and he pauses at the end, and gives a respectful nod to Tasman. "Sir." His eyes shift over to Kasim briefly, and drift over toward Fayth for the briefest of moments. He says to Tasman. "I think I should return to camp now. Training and all that." With that, he starts walking away, toward the direction of the Band Camp.

A form moves silently through the park, flanked on either side by hidden shadows, merely whispers in the wind.  Daveed is shrouded in his cloak, his golden eyes alighted under his hood.  The man moves low to the ground, as if stalking something. (Daveed)

Celline walks in from the direction of the city, a book in her hands and the light glow of saidar encircling her small form. A book rest open in her hands and her eyes absently skim the pages whilst flickering over the landscape and flickering to the wave floating in the air in front of her, a simple weave of fire and air, making a small pinpoint of light, she duplicates the weave by increasing the power on the first and divides them, she sends the two spots of light spinning in front of her, all while she walks towards the river.

Kasim stands up just as the new-comers enter, and immediately bows deeply before moving to leave the clearing.

Fayth watches Talill and Kasim start to leave, and her glance falls on Celline. She closes her eyes and sighs very softly, apparently anticipating the pots she will soon become very close to. She stands, and curtsies deeply, glaring at the men.

A small acorn travels through the air and for the back of Kasim's head.  Daveed remains hidden in the brush and shadows of the forest, concealing the wicked grin that plays on his lips. (Daveed)

Talill looks over his shoulder, and he offers a small smile in Fayth's direction. Taking a breath, he shrugs, and turns around, walking back to the area with Fayth and the others.

Celline smiles softly, and her book snaps shut. The weaves in front of her stretch and multiply once more, and she has an intricate pattern of four rotating points of colored light eclipsing each other. The book vanishes somewhere into the folds of her dress and belt and sleeves. Her hands fold together at her waist behind her back, and with barely a flickered eye, she weaves a solid wall of air in front of the retreating form of Kasim, and smiles ever so softly, 'Quite a hurry you seem to be in. Stay a moment.' words spoken simply and her eyes settle on Fayth, her soft smirk widening slightly.

Kasim stops as Celline speaks, just before the wall he does not see. As he bows to her again, the acorn sails over him and hits the wall of air. "As you wish, Keeper."

Fayth stands from her curtsey and sends a very tentative, nervous smile Celline's way. She remains standing, and folds her hands together in front of her, doing her best to appear as unimportant as possible. She smiles at Talill gratefully, but says nothing, not wanting to draw any unnecessary attention to herself.

Another acorn flies out of the trees but from a different point then before, this one is aimed at the back of Talill's head.  Daveed is still hidden in the brush but it might feel to some that there are eyes watching them. (Daveed)

Celline arches an eyebrow, smile fading, eyes flickering between the three present, still oblivious to Daveed. 'Dare I ask if anything productive is happening here?' she says calmly, releasing the weaves in front of her and in front of Kasim. Her eyes flicker to her side, casual glance given over her shoulder, halo of saidar still surrounding her. Her form turns slightly, and she looks to kasim, 'Care to explain?' she asks, little weight put to the question, her hands still folded behind her, giving a deceptive air of casualness.

Kasim frowns thoughtfully. "To be honest, Keeper, there is nothing going on. I was resting due to the later hour, playing my harp. Soon I was joined by the Novice, Talill, and Tasman, who left shortly. We have been here no more than 5 minutes."

Talill looks around as a strange object hits him in the head, and he mutters quietly, "Mothers milk in a cup..." as he searches for the perpetrator. With a small sigh, he gives up on the search, and takes a step toward Celline, extending his arm and tapping her on the shoulder lightly. "Uh, forgiveness Aes Sedai, but Kasim and I were just helping Fayth with some of her studies. It seems that Fayth learns better with some light background music.." As Kasim breaks in, he grimaces, and takes a step backward, all of a sudden fearful.

a soft growl can be heard from the bushes near Talill and sudden a form emerges and moves with a deadly wolfish stride towards the man.  What can be seen of his eyes, can only be compared to a burning fire as they glow in the darkness provided by his hood.  Daveed's eyes seem locked on Talill. (Daveed)

Fayth rolls her eyes (againI seem to do that a lot in your presence) and gives an exasperated sigh. Her eyes widen when she sees Talill lay a hand on the keeper, and she takes a small, startled step backward when she sees the man come out of the forest. She gasps, and as her eyes widen in sudden recognition, she covers her mouth, sending a fearful glance at Talill.

Celline turns to face talill, and arches an eyebrow, soft smirk curling her lips, 'Help with studies does not include music, Im afraid, you couldn't help her with anything we've taught her, Im sure you have better things to do.' she finishes her statement just as she sees Daveed, rolling her eyes, surprisingly enough, muttering some harsh curses under her breath, she takes a step to the side, partially front of talill, watching Daveed extremely carefully for the moment, glint of challenge in her eyes.

Talill looks over to the side, and he swallows slightly, his face breaking out in a nervous grin, a flash of white teeth. He raises a hand, and waves in greeting, then with a last glance at Fayth, and seeming to catch the fear, turns around and breaks out in a run in the other direction, far away from here.

Kasim looks at Talill, muttering to himself. "You are a fool man, to lie to the Keeper, then run." He looks at the group of people, waiting for a reaction.

a feral grin breaks out across Daveed's face as he takes pursuit of the man.  The man's cloak flying up in the wind as a surge of speed is put forth.  The bushes in front and to the sides of Talill rustle, as if something unseen is there, waiting for the man. (Daveed)

Celline snarls softly, and the glow of saidar brightens around her, she weaves a solidified rope of air, wrapping it around his waist, another at his ankles. She thickens it, making sure he feels the pressure. Her eyes flicker to kasim, 'If a lie has taken place here, it would be wise of you to tell me.' her eyes flick to Fayth, and she motions for the girl to approach.

Fayth glances around, her eyes absolutely filled with terror. When Celline beckons, she comes, and looks at her questioningly.

Kasim nods at Talill. "What I said to you was true, Keeper. I am not sure what the others were doing here, but I was doing as I said. There was no studying going on, despite what Talill said."

A sudden turn on his ankles, and Talill slides back a bit from his momentum, with a loud war cry, he charges full bore toward Daveed, shoulder forward, a vicious snarl on his face, as he accelerates more and more in speed. (Talill)

Daveed gives a shake of his head and continues full bore at Talill only to be halted in mid stride by an invisible force.  He turns his head back at the Aes Sedai with eyes that seem to ask why just as he gets slammed into by Talill.  At the moment of impact wolf howls can be heard close to where the action is taking place.  It is hard to make out numbers, but there are at least three wolves close by.  Daveed grunts with the impact and growls, trying to lash back but unfortunately he has been restrained.

Talill snarls in rage, and pulls a fist backward, oblivious to the fact that Daveed has been bound. "I hate you yellow eyed bastards!" He then slams it forward, full strength, right into the man's gut. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size!" He pulls back again, but then he seems to catch the wolf cries, and he pulls back, looking at Fayth, then Celline with uncertainty plain on his face.

Celline sighs, the trainee and the novice ignored for a moment, and she takes a step forward, slowly releasing the weave on Daveed and replacing them on Talill, ropes of solid air, one around his wrist as it's pulled back. She steps forward, glancing at Talill, 'Never strike at a man when he's incapable.' She looks to Daveed, 'He's stuck here now. Would you mind explaining what you plan on doing to him?' She asks flatly, a snarl fading in over her lips.

Kasim looks over to Fayth, shrugging. He walks out of the clearing, not sneaking or slinking.

Fayth stares at Talill, and flinches when he punches the stranger. Her mouth is open in shock, and she seems unable to close it. Finally, when Celline takes control, Fayth crosses her arms and nods. "Men." she mutters under her breath, glaring at Kasim as he leaves.

Daveed falls down when released but isn't down long as a loud growl erupts from the man as he rises back up.  Golden eyes on fire.  Coiled fist comes and bears down on the man's nose, hard and fast.  He glares at Talill and moves close and inhales through his nose and grins menacingly at the man before looking back at the Sedai and moves to the woods.  A few golden eyes can be seen in the shadows of the trees, but those are only the ones that want to be seen.

Celline raises a hand and rubs her temple, slowly releasing the weaves of air around Talill and lets them dissipate. She pushes another fist of air gently on the man's head. 'Sit.' A command given simply, and she turns to Fayth, motioning for her to come with one flip of one wrist. She glances to the bushes where the man vanished, and mutters a controlled curse under her breath, fit for a stable yard, not meant for any nearby ears.

Fayth sends one quick concerned glance Talill's way, then nods at Celline and moves to follow. Her eyes scan the bushes as well, searching in vain.

Talill lets out a loud, pained cry as the fist smashes into his nose, and blood starts pouring out all over the place from the shattered bone. He falls onto his bum most unceremoniously as the Air pushes him down, and he sits there on the ground, moaning softly and covering his face with his hand.

Daveed disappears into the woods, faint howls of a pack of wolves can be heard all around then as if on cue they stop.

Celline mutters another curse, before managing to restrain herself, and kneels next to the man, her eyes flicker to Fayth 'Watch. I don't know where you are in your training, but this is a very important weave, and good to have floating in your head before you learn to use it.' She gently but firmly moves the man's hand from his face and grasps saidar, glow of it surrounding her form. She weaves a small web of spirit, resting it and pushing it into the man's face, she sighs softly, and spins in flows of spirit and water, and some miniscule threads of fire and air, and the nose itself re-knits and starts to mend. After many moments, she brushes the dried blood off of the man's face with one hand, arching an eyebrow and standing upright in one smooth motion.

Fayth moves to stand next to Celline, eyes watching her every move intently. She can't keep a small smile from her lips, and her eyes twinkle with pleasure. When Celline finishes, she nods, curtsies deeply, and says "Thank you, Aes Sedai," still staring at Talill's nose, a very pleased expression on her face.

Talill shivers and shudders slightly as the Healing weave rolls over him, and he takes a deep breath when it subsides, looking up at Celline gratefully. "Thank you, Aes Sedai. The Light illumine you." He puts out a hand, slightly shaky, and manages to stand up, a bit of a wobble in his knees.

Celline sighs softly, and looks over the man, 'You saw me wrap him... don't you ever hit a man while he's vulnerable, no matter what you have against him. Now, I want you to go.. Wherever you came from and get and get some rest; if your authorities have a problem with that, they can come to me.' She glances to Fayth, soft smile curling her lips, 'I want you to collect the trainee and talk to me in he morning, and I want to see a full page on what you know about healing, what you saw, and what you think' She glances back at the bushes, and rolls her eyes, rubbing one finger to her temple again, eyes flickering between the two of them.

Fayth nods and curtsies once more. "Yes, Aes Sedai, of course." Her eyes are bright and shining, and her smile continues to grow wider, no matter how hard she tries to stop it. She curtsies once more, then adds "Thank you, Aes Sedai."

Talill wobbles a bit on his feet some more, and looks Celline right in the eye. "I didn't see anything. But, goodbye for now, Aes Sedai. The Light illumine you." With a last glance at Fayth, he turns around, and starts shambling off toward the Band of the Red Hand camp.

Celline sighs and folds her arms in front of her, pulling out her book once more. "Now, Novice... go, I planned on doing research and I dont want to see any of you until morning." she says simply, and makes her way to a bench, sitting down and flipping idly through the pages.

Fayth nods and curtseys again, one more whispered "Thank you, Aes Sedai." before she turns and walks hastily out of the clearing. Before she gets too far away, those near her can hear her ask herself  how she is supposed to fit all that on just one page...Then she disappears from sight.
