Mysterious Meeting

Queen's Circle

A narrow paved lane encircles a formal park. Nestled next to a low stone wall is a small shop. Woven baskets full of colorful flowers hang from large beams and a brightly painted green door welcomes you.

Sarek walks into the park, briskly. His face is drawn, and he looks very disturped, a bit tiered and worried. He is wearing the clothes that befit his station, though they look a bit dusty as if he's been walking around all day. He apears to be unarmed, but something moves on his back that might be a sword. When he starts looking around the park, not really expecting to see anything. When he sees Jahzara though, he sighs audiably and races to her yelling first "Jahzara!" then when he gets closer, slows down to a walk and smiles. He says "When you suggested that I chase you around the world again, I didn't know you were being serious!" He stays smiling and moves to hug her.

Teynel watches the trees right where Sarek enters before he enters. As the man comes in, Teynel straightens from the tree and watches him, his hand still clutching his swordhilt. Glancing towards Jahzara, Teynel says, "Do you know this man?"

Jahzara looks from the newcomer to Teynel shaking her head slowly as she faces Teynel. "I have no clue who this man is or why he called me Jahzara..." Looking back towards the man she speaks softly, "Who is this Jahzara person you call me, and do I know you...?"

Sarek steps back, even more surprised and worried than he was before. He says in a calm and quiet tone "You, my love, are Jahzara. I am Sarek, your husband." He raises his right hand, the one with the wedding band and points to the matching ring on her hand, then to the engagement ring on her other. "What happened? I came back from court and you were gone..."

Teynel looks surprised and confused as he switches his gaze between the man and the woman. The man with the strange eyes doesn't seem to make much movement but his hand is still on his weapon and his nose twitches ever so slightly.

Jahzara steps back from the man named Sarek, oddly talking a step closer to Teynel. "I do not know who you are or what you are talking about. My name is Zara not Jahzara, perhapes you have me confussed with someone else." Looking towards Teynel her bluish-green eyes big and round, unsure of what is happening.

Kasim walks down the street with Fayth on his right arm, looking around the frosted landscape lazily. He is without his armor and is instead wearing a black tunic with black pants beneath it. A long, dark blue cloak thrown over his shoulders does a poor job of concealing a shield worn there. He looks at the three congregated in the small park, noticing the two men that appear to be nearing an armed confrontation. He shrugs and walks over towards a bench a ways away from them.

Sarek doesn't pressure her as she steps back. He looks around, noticing Teynel for the first time. Looking at the man for a second, he turns back to Zara and asks, in the same quiet and gentle voice, but even more concerned "What is the first thing you remeber, from maybe a few months ago? Last winter?"

Her arm looped comfortably with Kasim's, Fayth walks with her head close to his ear, murmuring softly. She still wears the armband on one arm, though her clothing is simple and light. She doesn't seem to notice the others immediately, engrossed too completely in whatever it is she's saying to Kasim. It isn't until she gets to the bench and turns to sit that she notices the others, and immediately quiets down so as not to disturb them. (Fayth)

Jahzara sighs softly as she gets no answers from Teynel, turning back towards Sarek she shakes her head slowly. "I remember nothing...not a month ago, not last winter, not even before that." Not even noticing the newcomers she keeps her eyes on Sarek unsure what to say or do.

Sarek this seems to trouble him even more. His shoulders sloch a bit and he runs his hands through his hair, thinking. He closes his eyes momentarily, then shakes his head. He takes a deep breath and asks the only question that comes to his mind "How do you know your name?"

Teynel stands watching Sarek then glances to the other two as they walk in but quickly looks back to the man.

Sarek thinks on this for a second before responding. He frowing his brow, he says "Well I am assuming that that was a nickname, I called you Jazz, maybe your family called you Zara, but your name is Jahzara." he looks around at the other people in the area then continues "Your brother, and mine, are combing through the Borderlands looking for you." he sighs "Your father didn't seem to care..." he shakes his head and looks back at her very concerned, but still does not make any attempt to close the distance between them.

As nearly any woman in her position would do, Fayth can't help but lean forward a bit to eavesdrop shamelessly, and doesn't even bother trying very hard to conceal it. Her eyes widen a bit as the girl mentions a loss of memory, and her hands subconsciously move to the pouch at her waist. She mutters something under her breath, but tries to remain as quiet as possible, so as not to interrupt the drama. (Fayth)

Hiran walked along the city streets for whatever reason. His form was covered in dirt.. and aside from that, he wore the usual attire he had worn. A cadin'sor about his body.. each Cadin'sor within the Aiel was unique in the sense they told stories. Marks here, cuts there. Aside from that, and obvious pants and the such..all that was located upon his persona, within his right hand's grasp, was his spear. His weapon he would not leave. pale blue eyes glanced about, as his 6'5 frame, not the tallest among the Aiel, cruised the streets slowly..with no clue in mind what he was going to do.

Kasim elbows Fayth gently as he sees her reach for her pouch, smirking. "We're not involved, remember? You didn't have to leave our home for eavesdropping." He grins and moves away, as if expecting a punch or a slap.

Teynel looks sharply towards Fayth for a moment then to the large man that walks into the area with his spear. Teynel's knuckles turn white as he grips his sword but he makes no move to draw it. Looking to Jahzara he says, "Well, it looks like you found what you were looking for."

Arden comes striding down the street from the west, followed closely by a small detatchment of the Queen's Guard. He and his escort halt at the edge of the small park, and he scans the area intently. His eyes settle upon Jahzara and her accompaniment, and narrow purposefully. He turns to the three men at his heels, says something quietly, and beckons them forward with a jerk of his head, crossing directly towards the trio who seem to have caught his attention.

Jahzara listnes to what the man has to say but none of it seems familiar to her. "I don't know what yrou talking about sir..." Lookign towwards Teynel as he speaks to her she shakes her head slowly. "I do not know this man, and I will nto trust just anyone who says they are not only my husband..." thinking on that for a minute she shakes her head once more. "But no i cannot believe just anyone...' Sighing softly she turns back towards Sarek for a moment. "I am sorry..."

Sarek watches Jahzara as she speaks, not letting any other emotion surface besides his concern. When he hears Teynel speak he turns towards him, puzzles, then he looks towards the tiro of guards coming their way and then to the couple on the bench. Returning to Jahzara he says " I suppose that is understandable, but I -do- have answers to questions, like the origin of the rings on your fingures, why one of them matches mine...It will take sometime to get your brother down here..." he looks confused, not sure what to do.

Fayth throws out her arm in a halfhearted attempt to hit Kasim, not even pulling her gaze away long enough to notice he was no longer there. "Shush, you. It's just starting to get good. That's the girl from the inn the other day, remember? The one that left so abruptly?" At the first sight of the Queen's Guard, she tenses, and reflexively reaches up to make sure her armband is still there. Once assured that it is, she relaxes, focusing once again on the action.

So the Aiel kept casually strolling, Pale blue eyes glancing about more as he noticed a few armed individuals, and in so, his grip upon that weapon of his went even tighter, hand white.. as well as small bits of blood pouring out from his wound in an earlier battle, though the pain was pushed aside in Aiel manner. Hiran prepared now, and he knew when it came to dark he had the advantage. A Cor Darei, he was, and he was proud of that fact. (Hiran)

Kasim snickers slightly at her failed attempt to hit him and turns to look at the woman briefly, thinking. "Oh, yeah. She left right before my conversation with Lannes Gaidin." He looks over as Arden enters, recognition dawning on his face after a few seconds of looking. He watches curiously as the man and his detachment move toward the trio.

Teynel watches the guards suspiciously, still standing somewhat between Jahzara and Sarek. As Fayth speaks, Teynel glares towards her for a brief moment but then shifts his gaze at Sarek.

Arden walks purposefully across the small park, he and his men all moving with the same measured stride. He stops several paces short of the gathering by Jahzara, sweeping all three individuals with his gaze. He gives Teynel only the briefest of glances, before he considers Sarek and Jahzara with great care. In a clipped, formal tone, he says, "Sir. Miss. Light Illumine." His eyes slide back to meet Teynel's suspicious gaze, as he awaits a response. Behind him, his men fan out into a line, moving with the crisp discipline of soldiers on official business.

Jahzara eyes fly towards the guard as he speaks to her and Sarek, nodding her head in his direction she speaks just loud enough to be heard. "Light Illumine Sir..." Turning towards Sarek she shakes her head slowly, "No this is to much for me...I will hear no more of this...please do not follow me." Turning towards Teynel she nods her head briefly, "Remember what i said, I shall be here for a little whilelonger if you wish to take me up on the offer." Walking past both men she sighs softly as she now sees the two on the bench, incling her head towards them for a moment she continues to walk. Coming closer to the guard she nods her head once more before lifting her skirts slightly and taking off in a run.

Sarek blinks as the woman walks away. The slump in his shoulders becomes more apparent and he almost colapses, as if struck in the stomach. Recovering as she leaves, he turns to Teynel and asks "What offer is she talking about, if I may ask?"

Fayth frowns slightly as Teynel glares at her, and her expression turns indignant when she appears to be dismissed. Standing suddenly, and opening her mouth to warm herself up for a real tongue-lashing, she is interrupted by Arden. Crossing her arms, she sits back down and hmfts at Kasim, because, naturally, it was all his fault.

Teynel looks at Sarek shaking his head slowly. "It doesn't matter." Turning his eyes to where the woman walked off, he looks back to Sarek then the ring on his finger. "You really know her?"

Kasim continues watching, shooting Fayth an inquisitive look when she scoffs at him, looking somewhat confused. He stands up where he is and speaks loudly so as to be heard across the circle, "Light Illumine, Lord Torhild. When you have completed your business, I would be honored to have your company."

Sarek blinks and says, as if stating the obivous "Well, yes. She is my wife. She went missing just over a month again and I thought that she was playing the game she'd teased me with before" he frowns, looking worried and says " But it seems things are much more serious." He pauses then asks "Do you know of anyone - maybe even and Aes Sedai - would might be able to help her, with or without her knowledge?" he seems hopefull, but almost sure he will be rejected.

Arden looks back and forth from Sarek to Teynel, his expression studiously blank. His jaw, however, seems to be clenching. He rather pointedly turns and offers a polite half-bow to Kasim before focusing his entire attention upon Sarek. "I said... Light Illumine. Sirs." Two of the guardsmen behind him shoot each other meaningful glances.

Teynel turns his attention towards Arden and the armed men, offering a bow. "Pardon me. Light Illumine, sirs. All is well, I hope?" He straightens from his bow and studies the men.

Leaning back on the bench, Fayth offers an apologetic smile in Kasim's direction, and whispers something softly. She pats the bench next to her, but keeps a wary eye on the guards. At the mention of an Aes Sedai, her eyes narrow, and she gazes intently at Sarek. (Fayth)

Hiran looked at the armed guards, and just continued walking.. slipping into the darker part of the street, where it would take but a brief second for eyes to adjust to the lack of light upon that area.

Kasim nods to Arden, clearly taking the hint. He shrugs and resumes his seat next to Fayth, grinning at whatever it was she whispered to him. "Heaven forbid that ever happen."

Sarek watches the man he is talking to turn around, then only does he notice the soldiers behind him. Turning he looks them over quickly then says "Greetings." and turns back to Teynel, waiting his answers from his previous questions.

Arden closes his eyes momentarily, pressing his lips together. When his eyes open again, he addresses himself to Sarek, speaking in a carefully modulated voice virtually devoid of animation. "Pardon me, sir, but I require words with the man to whom you are speaking. I must insist that you give way." His gaze flickers to Teynel, and then returns to the back of Sarek's head.

Teynel watches the armed guards for a moment and says, "Excuse me please, sirs, but I must tell this man something vital quickly." Then to Sarek he says, "You can find all your answers at the Queen's Blessing." Back to the guards, Teynel says, "Sorry, now you wanted a word with me?"

Fayth has the grace to blush, and breaks her gaze from Sarek long enough to look at Kasim. Putting her hand strategically in front of her face just long enough to block her next action from the others, she sticks her tongue out at him. "And it's your job to see to it that it never happens." With a sharp intake of breath and a slight widening of her eyes, she tilts her head at Kasim questioningly. Softly, she murmurs, "Should I be worried?"

So once again.. he was cautious..such was the way of the Aiel..the mightiest warriors. Stepping off the road entirely.. he wandered into complete darkness, before he stopped.. pale blue eyes taking in the guards.. spear in right hand..blood still fell lightly from Hiran's palm..down the spear onto the floor. Such was the result of injury. (Hiran)

Kasim chuckles as he stands up again just after sitting, adjusting his cloak about his shoulders. "No, but we should be going. We need to secure new lodgings after last night's events. Queen's Blessing is nice, I've heard." He takes her by the arm as they begin to walk out of the park, talking quietly.
