Enter the Twins

Fayth enters, and makes her way straight toward the two girls. Nodding at Riani and offering a small smile, she turns her attention almost immediately to Viani, her demeanor all businesslike. "I am returning today. Has your sister spoken to you about your ability, and about your choices?" She crosses her arms and remains standing.

Viani blinks several times looking form Riani to Fayth. "Forgive me mistress...errr..." She clears her throat glancing toward the other woman who is her mirror image. "My sister dosn't talk all that much. She didn't mention anything..." She casts a glare to her sister.

Riani looks up for only a moment, beginning to turn towards Fayth before catching sight of Viani. A small sound, almost a squeek of fear, is emmited from her throat as she turns her attention back towards her hands, seeming to speak quietly to herself, curls falling infront of her eyes to hide anything she is looking at.

Fayth briefly raises an eyebrow at Riani, but noticing the girl's obvious discomfort , bites back the words threatening to escape. Instead, she turns back to Viani. "Well, child, I am in a most serious rush. This is not the way I normally go about telling people of their abilities, and I apologize if you feel as though I am throwing this at you, but...well it can't be helped." A pause, as she clears her throat. Lowering her voice to just above a whisper, despite the nearly empty room, she continues. "You, my dear, have the ability to channel, just as your sister does. I can take you to a place where they can teach you about your ability, and help you to control it, if you so wish..."

Viani's slate grey eyes buldge out of her head. She leaps from her seat and looks around the room franticaly as though she has just been told her sister is the darkone himself. "Bloo..." she looks to her sister angirly. "You knew about this?!!!!!!" She shouts at her. "I don't think I need your help my lady. I think you have helped enough."

Riani looks up at Viani slowly, her eyes studying her sister for a few moments. "I think we should let her." she says calmly, her calm composed nature almost the opposite of her sisters. "And perhaps you should sit down. And stop yelling. Your making a fool of yourself." She says the last quietly, her eyes moving up to meet Vianis, slate grey to slate grey.

As her eyes widen and darken with anger, Fayth stands her ground. Putting her hands on her hips and glaring at Viani, she mutters angrily under her breath. "I do -not- have the time for this. They should have sent someone else." Shaking her head and closing her eyes for a moment, she takes a deep breath and regains her Aes Sedai serenity. When she speaks, her voice is cold and hard, and brooks no argument. "Child, you will sit down now. Your sister is correct, you are acting like a fool." (Fayth)

Viani looks as though she had been slapped across her face. She does plop down onto her seat, however ungracefuly. She keeps her eyes on her hands and works her mouth soundlessly. "I..don't..this is...Ma'" All of her words seem like a plea of some sort, though with no sense to it.

Riani looks across the table, a slight touch of sadness affecting her eyes as she speaks. "You know what will happen to her, Viani. You know that there is nothing w-w-we can do, unless we do something for ou-ourselves." She begins to speak nervously towards the end of her sentance, her eyes becoming downcast as she once again looks at the table top. "A-a-and... I only Agreed to g-go if y-y-you did."

Fayth nods as Riani speaks, as if in agreement. "Yes. And regardless of whether or not you come with me now, something -must- be done about your abilities. We can not allow them to remain without taking care of them." Her voice softens, though only slightly, and her face still remains expressionless. "There is nothing more that I or anyone can do for your mother. Wouldn't you rather do something with your life...something she can be proud of?" She glances at Riani. "I can arrange to keep the two of you together, at least for a short time, if that would help."

Viani works her mouth her eyes filling with tears. She ponders a long moment of silence. "Together?" She asks solomly slowly nodding. As the tears spill down her cheeks she says in an emotional voice. "Ma...Ma could understand. -If- we stay together." She asks slowly moving closer to her sister as though the slightly larger woman could provide her with the comfort she requires.

Riani sighs slightly, scooting her chair a bit closer to her sisters and putting an arm around her shoulders. "Its a-a-alright." She says quietly, taking her right hand and tucking a stray curl of Viani's behind her ear. "Mother will understand." She says quietly, looking over at Fayth quietly, and raising her voice a bit, clearing her throat before speaking. "Ah... When do we uh, leave?"

Fayth nods decisively, as if the conclusion had always been clear to her, and pulls out a handkerchief. Holding it out for Viani, she smiles gently at the other sister. "Yes, very well, then. Go home. Talk to your mother, pack your things. I will come for you in one hour's time. Will that be long enough?"

Viani covers her eyes with the handkerchief noding solomly through her sobs she rests her head on her sisters shoulder. Racked with emotion she responds only with the sound of her sobs.

Riani nods, looking up at Fayth and begining to stand, dragging her sister up with her. "That will be sufficient. I have our things set out." She says quietly, looking down at her sisters face quietly and bringing her oposite hand up to pull her shoulder into a slight hug. "If you would excuse us..." She says quietly, begining to move towards the door.

Before turning away, Fayth allows herself an expression of pity. She nods at their backs and visibly gets a hold of herself. Gesturing a serving girl over, she asks for herbal tea. "One hour! I will find you at your home!" she calls out, before the girls step out the door. (Fayth)
